SPIRAL HORN STATUE GOLD

The Spiral Horn statue is an Art Deco Ibex, which displays the exaggerated grace of mature, circled horns. Ibexes were favorite subjects of both Art Deco and Hollywood Regency sculptors who, simultaneously, valued exotic animals and geometric shapes. Our specimen is sculpted in a faceted, angular, naturalistic style that traces a continuous line from his nose to the tips of both horns. The smooth, impasto surface highlights his very large, dramatically sectioned horns.
